Fees – How much will it cost?

At Owen & Loyd Architects we create a unique proposal specific to each project, to ensure it truly caters to your brief and design requirements. Our work is based on fixed fees so that you know exactly how much our services will be for the project, as well as each individual work stage.

Whilst we cannot tell you exactly how much our fees will be during our first conversation, we have set out some approximate fee ranges specific to a variety of different types and sizes of project. These helpful estimates can be used as a general guide before an individual written proposal is created for your project.

Our aim is to add value to every project through the considered application of good design and the creation of a comprehensive package capable of minimising changes during construction. In our experience this can easily offset any initial savings on the design team and ultimately save you money in the long run.

Given the large range of works possible and the wide scope of historic building types, even initial budgeting fee ranges are difficult, therefore, a tailored quote will be produced every time. As an outline though, the following percentages of overall construction cost give a rough indication of what our total fixed fees might be.
